The Diary of Anne Frank

Just seeing how many people have read The Diary of Anne Frank in this place. I must admit I myself haven't read it yet but I plan to someday and it's a very popular book. So I just figured, what the heck?

Oh! I've read that. I absolutely love the diary of anne frank. I've read multiple versions including a play and I've seen various films based on the book. I've also been to the annex in which anne stayed in at amsterdam. It's amazing.

different versions? then how do you know what the original English version was? I want to read the original English one so that I get one of the exact translations.

No, I meant multiple versions as in, I've read it in play format, book format, and then another play. The plays are obviously never the same. But there's only one book.
