Postby Anna-wa on Sun Mar 02, 2008 3:40 am

I noticed Lillie-wa had an avatar but I can't seam to find the place to go for the uploading. I'll check again but if I can't find it, could somebody help me?

I found it but sadly .bmp files are not aloud. :( And to think I had my avatar from the old westerboard saved.
Oh well, I'll just try uploading it from an image host website.

I tried that, and it didn't work either. *sigh* Stephie-wa, is there anyway to allow .bmp files to be uploaded?

In Photoshop you can save as bmp or jpeg, just click Save As and then there'll be a file type option, choose jpeg.
Sorry to disturb you all, but this is a Special Circumstance.

That's probably the easiest thing to do, and make sure it is the right size as well.
Took me about four attempts for my avatar to be allowed.. Haha
But re-saving it is probably better than Steph or Suz mucking around with the controls...
Who knows what could happen!

Well, I don't have photoshop.
How can I resize it? I mean, it's the same size as it was in the gallery on the old westerboard, and I don't want to have to like you know, zoom in on Tally's eye or something like that.
I'll try resaving it though.

Yeah I used paint to resize and resave.
I think the limit here is 90 x 90 instead of 100 x 100.
Or am I completely wrong?

It's 90 by 90. Which was a little odd, because I mostly have 100x100. But whatever, it's easy to resize.
